About the Screenwriters Association of Santa Barbara
The Screenwriters Association of Santa Barbara was founded in 1975 in order to help local screenwriters further their careers. Each month we host guest speakers (professional screenwriters, filmmakers and producers) in sharing their experience in the industry. Occasionally we will hold round-tables or workshops to share our writing progress.
NOTE: Meetings are currently on hiatus while we are working on the schedule of events.
Previously, meetings have been held at TVSB in Santa Barbara, on the 2nd Thursday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm, though we will be moving to a quarterly format for 2017. Check the calendar for upcoming events.
Keep our Meetings Going: Get Involved!
SASB needs your help to keep our meetings going! We have a great space at TVSB, now let's get some great speakers to come share their stories! If you know of a screenwriter or screenwriting instructor who would like to present at SASB, contact us!
TVSB: 329 S Salinas St Santa Barbara, CA 93103. Parking is limited, use the small lot on Lou Dillon Lane or there is street parking. We recommend car pooling when available.
